Horse Camp!
This week I attended Rosaire's Horse Riding Camp! It was a lot of fun and I got to learn how to ride horses! This horse camp didn't just have horses, but it also had a petting zoo with adorable goats and chickens, lots of cute little ponies and an awesome playground! In the mornings, the horses got collected from the field and saddled for riding! We usually do about three or four rotations. During these rotations, about seven people got to walk, trot, and canter around the arena. After your turn, you could play on the playground, go to the petting zoo, or go to the pony workshop. I bet your wondering what the pony workshop is. Well, the pony workshop is where you get to groom the ponies and walk them around so they can eat grass! The ponies can be very stubborn at times, but no matter how stubborn they get they're so cute you can't stay mad at them. Then, at the end of the day you get to ride again, but this time bare back! Bare back riding is where you ride the horse with either nothing on it's back or just a pad on it's back! When you bare back, it's best to get a very smooth riding horse because if you don't you're going to have a very bumpy ride! I hope this post has given you a little more insight on the camps around the area and maybe even made you want to jump on a horse yourself!
Thanks again for a great post. You are very brace with those horses!
